Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter officially launched in Japanese on January 25, 2025, distributed by Takara Tomy. While featuring the same core cards as western releases, the Japanese edition differs with 16 packs per box and 6 cards per pack. Collectors note superior foiling and sturdier card stock, and the Japanese cards are fully tournament legal in official events.
